Another project that I am currently working on started by watching films. They have given me so many ideas and this is where I am with it right now. This shows some research and my idea development through illustrations.
Here is a research sheet for my Cuffs and Collars project. It shows my starting point of a domino rally, which leads on to a drawing machine that I made and then artist and designer research.

This is the outcome of my Cuffs and Collars project. After lots of experimenting and research I ended up making three instead of one like the brief asked for.

Here are a select few of 50 images that I drew of the same thing. It has helped me to see that you have endless possibilities from one thing and to think outside the box. It also give me new ideas for my illustration techniques.
My first project on foundation art was to create a 50 year self. As well as making, I really enjoyed dressing my figure and when drawing them I used a range of techniques and patterns.
After traveling around my city painting urban landscapes, I used the colours to create more abstract natural landscapes. I saw the patterns that I made as fabrics so turned them into fashion illustrations.

These are some of my life drawings. By doing life drawing the proportions of my drawings have improved. Also it allowed me to practice a wide range of drawing skills that I now use in my fashion illustrations.
